Canine Companion Hand Puppet

1. Make a finger hole in the foam egg. Cut out a 7 1/2" felt circle; soak felt in warm water. Squeeze out excess water and stretch felt over the head, pinning in place; let dry. Remove pins and glue to secure; trim away excess felt.

Capering Critter Hand Puppets

1. Cut the foam eggs and balls in half using the serrated knife. (Hint: For smoother cuts, wax the knife blade with an old candle.)

Finger Friends

1. If desired, paint balls of STYROFOAM. Push a skewer into the balls to hold while painting; place skewers in a block of foam to hold while balls dry.

Giant, Fantasy Stick Puppets

1. Insert skewer, pencil or chopstick in foam ball to use as handle. Paint foam ball color of your choice. Let dry.

Hop-to-It Bunny Hand Puppet

1. Make a finger hole in the foam egg. Place the egg in the toe of the white sock. Gather the extra part of the sock and cut off excess. Glue the cut edge of the sock to the foam egg around the finger hole.

Pop-Up Bunny Puppet

1. Arms and Paws: Bend ends on 8" length of 16-gauge wire; glue and insert ends into 1-1/2" balls (hands). Center one ball on 6" square of white felt; pull felt tightly around ball, gathering around wire; secure with another length of wire. Repeat for other hand. Glue long edge of 6" x 8" piece of white felt, forming 8"
