1. If your shape of STYROFOAM is white, you will need to paint it green. Use a green acrylic craft paint; solvent-based paints may melt the foam. For easier
handling, insert a skewer, pencil or other sharp tool into the foam ball to serve as a handle while painting. Remove handle when done.
1. Cut a 2" slice from the base of the foam cone. (Hint: For smoother cuts, wax the knife blade with an old candle.) Insert slice into pot, resting just below the
top of the pot; glue in place.
1. If clay pot has a drainage hole, cover with masking tape. Place several rocks in pot to keep it from tipping. Place foam ball in pot, trimming sides with sharp
knife if necessary. Glue in place. Push branch into ball, remove and then glue in place.
1. Using craft knife or serrated knife, cut two pieces of foam 2" x 4" x 14"; set aside. (If using serrated knife, wax blade with old candle for smoother, easier
cutting.) Trim remaining foam sheet to fit inside basket. Stack and glue foam in layers until top layer is flush with top of basket.

1. Using tile nippers, cut small number of each color tile in half lengthwise and diagonally; these will be the filler pieces. Determine design and colors for eggs
and cone; models shown include vertical and horizontal stripes, swirls and crosses. Glue tiles to foam shapes, using generous amount of glue. Firmly press tiles
in place, leaving 1/4" space between them. Let dry.
