Poecilia

Poecilia Bloch & Schneider, 1801, is a genus of freshwater fish in family Poeciliidae of order Cyprinodontiformes. The type species is P. vivipara. Live-bearers, the Poecilia species are collectively known as mollies, with the exception of the famous guppy.

Pollock is the common term for either of the two species in the Pollachius genus. Both P. pollachius and P. virens are commonly referred to as pollock. Other names for P. pollachius include the Atlantic pollock, European pollock, lieu jaune, and pollack, while P. virens is sometimes known as the coalfish or saithe. Pufferfish

The pufferfish, also called blowfish, swellfish, globefish, balloonfish are fish making up the family Tetraodontidae, within the order Tetraodontiformes. They are named for their ability to inflate themselves to several times their normal size by swallowing water or air when threatened; the same adaptation is found in the closely related porcupinefish, which also have spines (unlike pufferfish).

Red Line Torpedo Barb

The Red Line Torpedo Barb or Denison Barb (Barbus denisonii) is a tropical fish belonging to the barb group in the minnow family. Originating in fast-flowing streams and rivers of India, this fish is a relatively new addition to the fish keeping hobby. They are characterized by a torpedo shaped body with silver scales, a red line running from their head, through the eye, back towards the middle of the body, and below the red line, a black line that runs the length of the fish to the tail. The fish will grow to a maximum length of 6 inches (15 centimeters).

Red Zebra (fish)

Pseudotropheus are a group of Mbuna cichlids found in Lake Malawi. Mbuna means rockdweller and this says alot about the way these cichlids live in areas with a lot of rocks and caves. Most Pseudotropheus are algea eaters in the wild but they accept a number of other food sources when kept in aquariums. It is however important to make sure that a large part fo their diet consist of vegetables.

Rosy Barb

The Rosy Barb (Barbus conchonius) is a tropical fish belonging to the barb family (Cyprinidae). Originating in Bengal, India and other parts of Southeast Asia, this fish is sometimes kept in the fish keeping hobby. This pinkish fish is one of the larger species of Barbs growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. Their color becomes bolder during their mating periods. The male has a brighter pinkish color and the female is slightly plumper.

Sailfin Catfish

The Sailfin Catfish (Liposarcus multiradiatus) is a tropical fish known as a Plecostomus belonging to the Armored Catfish family (Loricariidae). Named for its sail-like dorsal fin, the part of its scientific name multiradiatus means "many-rayed" and refers to the rays of the dorsal fin. The Sailfin Catfish is one of a number of species commonly referred to as the Common Pleco by aquarists.

Sailfin Molly

Mollies are nice peaceful fish. Sometimes they will attempt to chase others around a bit, but do not hurt them in most instances. Mollies do best in a group with a few males and several females. Mollies are good tank mates for Swordtails, Platies, Angel Fish, Corydoras Catfish, Plecostomus, and bigger Tetras such as Black Skirt, Red Serpaes, and Silver Tips.
